We are looking for an assistant to help with various IT tasks

Responsibilities

• Take inventory of all IT equipment in the office, and inspect periodically, and update them. ( IT equipment includes: SQL server, NAS, switches, routers, modems, printers, desktops and laptops)
• Analyze IT system (both hardware and software) and recommend ways to upgrade it from the stand point of efficiency, security, capability and cost.
• Provide software and hardware support to 20 staff (mostly Microsoft 365 applications) both in person and remotely.
• Maintain ERP (Microsoft Dynamics or formerly known as Great Plains).
• Provide technical support for the transition from Great Plains to Business Central.
• Provide technical support for the implementation of Microsoft Customer Relationship Management system.
• Provide technical support for the implementation of Warehouse Management bar code System.

Qualifications

-Engineering field of study (mechanical, electrical) is a plus and may lead to more hours, if desired, with the application engineering department.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with computer networking, VPN, firewall, and software troubleshooting
- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics GP would be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
